1. Zero Server-Side Persistence Architecture
Unlike traditional web converter services that upload your files to remote cloud storage or processing queues, mWebTools operates on a strict 100% Client-Side Engine architecture.
All file operations—including image cropping, image compression, image resizing, format conversions (JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF), CSV/JSON data transformations, and mathematical calculations—are executed entirely within your web browser using HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly (WASM), and Web Workers.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
We adhere to a strict non-collection policy regarding user content:
- No File Content Logging: We cannot view, inspect, store, or transmit your uploaded images, spreadsheets, or code payloads.
- No Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not require account registration, email addresses, phone numbers, or credit card details to use our workstations.
- Automatic EXIF Metadata Removal: When processing or exporting images through our image workstations, EXIF metadata (including embedded GPS coordinates, camera model info, and capture timestamps) is automatically stripped to safeguard your privacy.
3. Local Storage & In-Browser Memory Usage
To provide instant page hydration and persistent user preferences across sessions, mWebTools uses standard client-side browser storage APIs:
Stores your light/dark theme preference, starred favorite tools, and recent tool visit history. This data remains on your device.
Houses workstation state snapshots (such as recent canvas crop history or large JSON cache) locally on your device for high-speed offline access.
4. Web Analytics & Cookie Policy
We may use privacy-first, cookieless web analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to monitor website operational uptime, total page views, and client side error logs.
- No cross-site tracking cookies or fingerprinting scripts are deployed.
- IP addresses are anonymized before processing metrics.
- Data is aggregated strictly for technical performance optimizations.
5. Rights Under GDPR & CCPA Compliance
Because we do not store or process your personal data on server infrastructure, standard data subject rights (Right to Erase, Right to Access, Right to Rectify) are inherently satisfied: your data resides entirely under your own control on your personal browser. Clearing your browser data immediately removes all local state.
